Description
This product is designed for use with the Slip-On Line (SS) exhaust to create a complete system constructed from race-proven, high-grade stainless steel, with a weight reduction of 10.9% (1.0 kg) when compared to the standard stock headers. The header has been optimized for enhanced performance, delivering power gains across the complete rev range. When combined with the Slip-On Line (SS), power and torque increases of 5.2 kW (7.1 hp) at 14,000 rpm and 2.7 Nm at 6,000 rpm, respectively, were registered when compared to a Honda CBR600RR equipped with a standard stock system and tested on the Akrapovič dyno. It provides a deep, sporty sound, and throughout the development process engineers focused on throttle response and rideability. The product has been designed for use on closed-course competition circuits only, and ECU remapping is recommended for optimal performance, throttle response, and durability. With the installation of the Optional Header (SS), EC/ECE type approval for the Slip-On Line (SS) is no longer valid.
When installing the Optional Header on Euro5+ motorbikes (2 lambda sensors), the engine check light might appear after identifying a deviation in the stock catalytic converter´s parameters.
