Description

The muffler outer sleeve is made from high-grade titanium, with a stainless-steel link pipe and muffler inner structure. Finished with a carbon-fibre end cap and heatshield, this exhaust reduces weight by 33.4% (1.1 kg). The new design offers great durability and personalization for the motorcycle. With a heatshield that has been totally designed from scratch, the package provides passenger and gear protection, while delivering a unique appearance. Power gains of 1.8 kW (2.4 hp) at 9,400 rpm and torque increases of 1.8 Nm at 8,100 rpm – when compared to a Ducati DesertX equipped with the standard stock system and tested on the Akrapovič in-house dyno – combine with a perfect throttle response. A deep, vivid, and sporty sound is emitted from the exhaust, which has an EC/ECE type-approval certificate and is a simple plug and play installation with no remapping needed.

A further upgrade can be obtained with the addition of the optional link pipe, designed for increased performance and a sportier sound experience.

Installation of the optional link pipe (SS) makes EC/ECE type approval of the Slip-On Line (Titanium) invalid.
