Description

This product is a brand new underbelly complete exhaust system fabricated using high-grade stainless steel with a hand-made carbon-fibre cover that features honeycomb exhaust protection, a reminder of the racing DNA of Akrapovič. The cover is the final touch to the design, and it includes an Akrapovič logo in red and white.

This complete exhaust system comes as one unit with the catalytic converter inside the header. High-end technology was used when shaping the exhaust, with the aim of integrating the system within the bike’s lines. The weight has been reduced over the stock system by 28.6% (2.2 kg).

During the development phase, the engineers focused on optimal throttle response and performance, leading to a power increase of 0.8 kW (1.1 hp) at 9,200 rpm and a torque rise of 0.6 Nm at 8,500 rpm when compared with a Yamaha MT-07 with a standard stock exhaust system and verified on the in-house dyno. It delivers a deep and sporty sound from the parallel twin engine.

This product is Euro 5+ compliant and EC/ECE type approved with a plug-and-play installation and no remapping required. The system fits in combination with the original Yamaha centre stand and engine guards.
